Summary:Dice Roller is designed as an offline-first application. We do NOT collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal information, roll logs, or user configurations. All application data remains 100% strictly local to your device.
1. Information Collection and Use
We believe in absolute data privacy. When you use the Dice Roller app:
No Personal Data Collected: We do not ask for, store, or transmit your name, email address, phone number, location, or device identifier.
Local Storage Only: All your custom dice configurations, favorite roll presets, and recent roll history logs are stored locally on your device using Android's local SQLite database (Room). This data never leaves your device.
No Account Required: You can use all features of the application without registering or signing in.
2. Hardware Sensors & Device Permissions
To provide interactive functionality, the app accesses specific device hardware locally:
Accelerometer / Motion Sensor: The app reads accelerometer motion data solely to detect when you physically shake your device to initiate a dice roll. Sensor data is processed in real time and is never saved, logged, or transmitted anywhere.
Vibration / Haptic Feedback: Used to provide subtle tactile feedback during dice rolls.
3. Third-Party Services and Analytics
Dice Roller does not incorporate third-party advertising SDKs, tracking frameworks, or external analytics engines (such as Google Analytics or Firebase Analytics). Your activity within the app remains entirely private to you.
4. Children's Privacy (COPPA Compliance)
Our application is suitable for users of all ages, including children. Because we do not collect any personally identifiable information (PII) from anyone, Dice Roller fully complies with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
5. Data Security & Data Deletion
Since all data is stored exclusively on your local device storage:
You can delete your roll history or custom dice at any time using the in-app "Clear History" or "Delete" buttons.
Uninstalling the app or clearing the app's storage via your Android Device Settings will permanently erase all local application data.
6. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect future app enhancements or legal requirements. Any updates will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
